First, we are travelers. We’ve explored all over the United States and overseas here and there as well! We’ve seen a lot of places, and we’ve stayed in a lot of different places. Hotels, vacation rentals, hostels, campgrounds… you name it, we’ve probably stayed in something like it.
Second, we’re cabin owners and hosts in the Smokies. We want our cabins to feel like home for our guests. So we provide things like fully stocked kitchens, comfortable beds, televisions, wi-fi, and plenty of towels and other bathroom amenities. Why? Because we don’t like having to pack too heavy or shop for basic supplies as soon as we arrive at our destination.
Third, we are The Cabin Whisperer. We can walk through a cabin, and it will speak to us (metaphorically speaking of course, we aren’t hearing voices in our heads!). The cabin (or house, or condo) will tell us what it needs to give guests an amazing experience. It will tell us if it is being cleaned adequately between reservations. It will tell us if there are any deferred repairs that need to be addressed or upgrades to increase the cabin’s attractiveness to guests and revenue for owners.
We can see all this because we’re owners too, and we’ve hosted thousands of guests. We’ve cleaned our own properties hundreds of times. We’ve been guests at dozens of other short term rentals. We view your property through all of these eyes.
We aren’t magical. We aren’t necessarily the smartest people in the room. However, we do know cabins in the Smokies really well, and we enjoy helping other owners and hosts elevate their guest experience.
